Create! exists to give families an outlet to create together for God's glory, respond to His message, and establish firm spiritual foundations for a new generation.
Creativity leads to encounter.
We envision communities where children are central, parents and children build and grow side by side, and creativity becomes a pathway into encounter with God. Faith is real, personal and brings transformation.
When we build, design, imagine and shape, we reflect our Creator. What we make becomes a response: an offering back to God. Through building, biblical teaching, reflection and prayer, we grow together in Christian community.

Beginning locally at The Mount, our longer-term vision is to establish creative worshipping communities across Church St Helens, grow across the deanery, and develop shared training, resources and learning for other churches.
LEGO is the starting point. Over time, we hope to explore other ways of creating together, while keeping Christ, family participation and discipleship at the heart of it all.

Creativity Reflects the Creator
Creativity is not just decoration; it points deeply to God. When families build, design, imagine, and express, they imitate the creative wonder of God. Every brick placed, every structure formed, every design imagined becomes an act of reflection and response. What we create is offered back for His glory.
Accessible and Low-Threshold
Create! remains simple, welcoming, and unintimidating. No assumed knowledge. No insider language. Clear explanation. Clear invitation. The design must always lower barriers rather than raise them, particularly for families not currently connected to church.
Participation Over Observation
Faith formation happens through involvement. Create! rejects passivity. Families do not watch creativity; they practice it. Children and adults participate equally. What participants create is honoured because participation itself carries dignity.
Children Are Central
Children are not the future church; they are the present church! Co-builders in God's Kingdom. Create! intentionally gives children visibility, responsibility, and voice within the worshipping environment, helping build confidence and identity rooted in Christ.
Inclusion Without Discrimination
LEGO models a simple truth: every piece matters. Create! reflects this by welcoming all who come, creating space where everyone contributes while remaining faithful to the gospel message.
Space for Encounter
Creativity prepares the ground, but encounter and growth are the deeper goal. Create! intentionally provides space for prayer, reflection, and response. God is not merely discussed; He is encountered. Creativity opens hearts and encounter builds foundations.
Firm Foundations
Every session ultimately points to Christ as the unshakeable foundation of our lives. Such strong lifelong foundations are something deeply needed in today's world. Building imagery is not symbolic decoration; it is central to the theology of the ministry. We are helping to form families whose faith is stable, resilient, and generational.
Multiplication with Integrity
Growth must not dilute depth. As Create! expands into other churches and contexts, it carries its theological clarity, creative ethos, and commitment to discipleship. Replication is purposeful, not simply reactive.

Create! brings glory to God, holding creativity as worship. Everything built, expressed, or imagined is offered back to God who creates and sustains all things.
